The Low Down for "Down There"

Updated: May 11, 2022

Welcome to the conversation about women's health and the pelvic floor where I'll talk about topics for "down there" and all sorts of woman stuff we don't talk about (but we shouldn't be afraid to)!

"I didn't know there was anything I could do about that." I've heard this so many times over the nearly 10 years I've included pelvic floor into my orthopedic physical therapy repertoire. For those of you that have an issue "down there" but feel alone, embarrassed, and at a loss for what to do...I want you to know that you are not alone, many women's health/pelvic floor issues are treatable and you deserve to feel empowered to talk about your body!

I started Well Woman Physical Therapy to listen, teach and empower women about their bodies so that they can achieve their goals and be their best self. I love connecting with and helping others and in some small way want to make an impact. One of my favorite parts of my job is teaching and so starting a blog seemed like a perfect way to get more information to more women. By helping others, we all rise. My goal with this blog is to open the door a little wider for discussion and learning about women's health and pelvic floor issues. I want to break down stigmas, share knowledge, extend support and ultimately let women know they are not alone, they deserve self care and should not be afraid to advocate for their health (preferably sooner that later)!

Let's Talk About "It"...

Follow along as I share about: incontinence, birth healing, diastasis recti, painful sex, constipation, proper toileting, prolapse, the importance of the breath, return to running, urinary frequency, menopause transition and more....
